What have you learned about yourself or the world as a result of living through the COVID-19 pandemic? Your challenge is to express your experience of living through this historic time through a work of art.

Summary

The project talks about two sides of people coping with the pandamic. The dark side where the doctors are stuggling to save lives and feel that they are trapped and can't be on the other side with their families,also that the virus controls our lives as if we are puppets.The other side shows a glimpse of the positive changes in enviromental that happened during this pandamic as closing of the ozone hole.The thing that ties the two sides together is a coffin to show how people can't get out and how real the situation is.

How We Addressed This Challenge

It expresses how people behave and cope during this time and it shows alot of people who are working from home or with family or coping with depression and doctors fighting this pandamic

How We Developed This Project

Because in our point of view, art is the best way to express what's happening.

We wanted to make it a two piece art to show that they form the whole story if put together looking at different sides

Space agency inspired us with isolation ideas and the presence of sun rays in our project.

We used photoshop to develop our project.

Problems: we wanted to work together but the quarantine prevented us. Also, we wanted each one of us to use different medium (graphic and paper)

Achievement: we reached our goal in making our project meaningful, creative and influential.
