Connected to Earth

Summary

In this moment of COVID-19, we learned to deal better with the negative emotions that can arise with social isolation and to exercise our empathy and solidarity with the people most affected by the pandemic. It is a reflection of an artistic form, with real images, which seek to show our recognition of human activity outside the Earth, emphasizing the emotions felt by an astronaut in an isolation different from ours. Different isolations, equal emotions.

How We Addressed This Challenge

This project makes an artistic reflection in relation to the current and delicate moment that the planet lives because of COVID-19. In this reflection, we try to explore the emotions felt by an astronaut, showing that his isolation is different from ours, however, the emotions are the same.

How We Developed This Project

In this moment of COVID-19, we learned to deal better with the negative emotions that can arise with social isolation and to exercise our empathy and solidarity with the people most affected by the pandemic. This was our inspiration. The objective is to show that, although the physical space is different, as emotions are the following: gratitude, mission to be accomplished, fear, doubts, anxiety and longing for the people who left here on Earth.
