Summary
Mount Meru is considered the center of all physical, metaphysical and spiritual worlds. It is the symbolic representation of a mountain that creates the feeling of isolation. Mount Merou is the human center of all, the soul, knowledge, health at all levels and creativity in isolation. Mount Meru is the inner peak of our indisputable self, our world and our experiences that combine our conscientiousness and our ascetic experiences.
How I Addressed This Challenge
Art has always been the inner path of creativity and understanding. Through difficult times and unusual problems, art is the way to look at our soul with ascetic isolation. At the same time, the multi-layered art <<ceremony>> combines critical thinking with a deep understanding of the emotions that connect our physical body to our spiritual beliefs. The unprecedented experience of a pandemic for humans has allowed each of us to look at what really matters. The unity with the rest of the world and the essential feeling that we were one, allows us to see ourselves with sensitivity. Our vulnerable nature and the fragile balance of our world, need once again a spirituality that unites, that embrace critical thinking and gives birth to values that were previously forgotten.
How I Developed This Project
Art is an interdisciplinary field that studies the perception, cognition and characteristics of art and its production. The psychology of art is related to architectural psychology and environmental psychology.
The work of Theodor Lipps, a Munich-based research psychologist, played an important role in the early development of the concept of art psychology in the early decade of the twentieth century. His most important contribution in this respect was his attempt to theorize the question of Einfuehlung or "empathy", a term that was to become a key element in many subsequent theories of art psychology.
