The attitude of solidarity, both for the giver and the receiver, points to an EB-Expeditionary Behavior
1. Skill 1, Communication: capture non-verbal cues. People in a weakened psychological state who may not transmit their angles clearly, so they have an active supportive attitude with words that help to ease these anxieties
2. Skill 2, Leadership / Followers: Being a positive influence in the changed environment as now.
3. Skill 3, Self-care: This skill is perhaps the most important as it shows that we ourselves can seek balance in these moments of isolation and disturbance of the natural order of things. Maintain personal hygiene, be organized and above all do not transmit more stress around you.
4. Skill 4, Team service: Attitudes of solidarity materialize in offering and accepting help. Sharing credit requires detachment from ourselves and also reverses solidarity in this act.
5. Skill 5, Group Life. Maintaining resilience in the face of difficulties is a skill that attitudes of solidarity can reinforce, as well as maintaining calm and moments of conflict
Reading about the effects of loneliness on space travel and efforts to cancel or minimize these effects, we understand that for astronauts the question of external support to accomplish missions is something very present in everyday life. What really has an impact is the distance from home, the lack of loved ones, the reduced spaces and, of course, the risks of high radiation to which they are exposed. Since the question of food is something you need not worry about, there is a psychological question with all its complexities. However, it is a fact that words of encouragement and positive help to ease the pressure in this condition.
Here on Earth we miss both. Many do not have food and many more do not have an incentive or welcoming environment.
The beneficial effects of a recognition or words of encouragement are already known. Why then do we practice so little while we are all living under the same network of connection?
We then propose that each one access their social networks and spread words of encouragement to acquaintances and strangers, making a wave against the hatred that most of the time reigns in this digital environment.
