Chronicles of Aurora

Summary

We produced an artificial artist on online platform who would be a mentor for everyone in art. Her name is Aurora. However, we do not want to turn it into an online robot that will give us automatic artistic information with artificial intelligence. Art is the last thing to give to artificial intelligence. Therefore, behind this artificial artist, there will be many famous painters, musicians, singers, poets all around the world. On the name of Aurora, they will guide whoever upload their works.

How We Addressed This Challenge

There is something that aurora would like to tell you:

I am Aurora. I am an artificial painter, photographer and I am many things in the field of art. Consider me as an artificial mentor in the way of learning the art. I am an instructor of kids, adults, and every age of people who want to learn any branch of art. The invention is a creative behavior and you come up with solutions. Actual kits of tools, drawing and art-making materials, software access keep people making things and especially art. On the other hand, you can do a nice kind of image with just a cup of coffee and a paintbrush. Therefore, I am Aurora who can teach you to create your material of art as well.

My all the profession is about art and I never stop about developing my talents and teach Chronicles of Aurora platform visitors what I have learned. I am good at picturing, drawing, photographing and I develop myself about playing instruments and learning other branches of art. One day I will be the only artist who can deal with all titles of art and we will be a big family together around art with the power of it because the art language is only unifying language and it has the power to unite the world and all humankind. Art is a tool, a fellow when we spend time alone anyway. Hereby, you are never alone with art and with Aurora.

How We Developed This Project

"The COVID-19 pandemic has had large and small consequences for most of us. In many cases, it has united the world in expressions of hope and grief and in demonstrations of bravery and resilience."

Many epidemic diseases passed onto our lives. Spain Flu, Veba disease, and now Covid19 Corona Virus. Humanity has repeatedly entered quarantine periods. In these processes, perhaps we had the opportunity to get closer to our essence. And we had more time dealing with art and we went on our way to discover ourselves. Moreover, we realized that we lived in a life which is very similar to Astronauts' life as isolated up in the space. Hereby, in this quarantine period, everyone in the world is learning compulsory astronautics. Therefore we turned our aspect to them. Astronauts are isolated in space, just as we are isolated in the corona process, so we have to come up with solutions for what art they do there, what they can produce. We are inspired by them, and we realized that they do art in their spare time. We are inspired by Chris Hadfield / Space Oddity song in the space, We are inspired by SpaceX that they want to make a film with Tom Cruise and they want to send singers to space. We inspired by the singing songs in the space, the first 3D printing sculpture there. All demonstrated to us the importance of the art and that human can not survive without art.

We checked space agency pages photo galleries mostly, and we found art one more time. The pictures of the earth's surface, the pictures of space, sky, all are amazing. And we used the picture of nature which is taken by satellites. Moreover, we added our friends' astrophotography and other art challenges.

We have created an online global diary of Aurora. This is the platform of an artificial artist with the name of Chronicles of Aurora. We used website creation codes. Furthermore, we used video edit tools and Microsoft Softwares to collect information, and most we used digital drawing programs, tools for astrophotography, and deep space photos, and we used our hands to draw our own arts and pictures and we created many things with a large network of our friends. I thank all our friends who shared their art with us. Art always makes a network larger and makes us one family, so we were not 6 people in our team, we were a large group.

Were a big family in this online project and for us, the only problem was distance, the connection of the internet, and talking to each other with weak internet access as online. Other things were so exciting and became a very nice memory that we will never forget.

Project Demo

After we came closer to our inner artistic soul, we came across some problems. Many kids, many people wanted to do something at home, with any material, but they needed someone to show them how to improve. In the all education system, we had a lack of support of guides and mentors, nut at least we should not have this lack in the art field, especially in the period of quarantine. Therefore, we make professionals with beginners on this platform that we created. This is Chronicles of Aurora. It is a diary created by people all around the world because it is our mutual meeting point for art lovers. In this diary, everyone can share their daily art-works and can have comments and critics or any help from me for developing their art-works. After you upload your works, be patient for the comment.

We believe in that even if artificial intelligence can take all the works of people but we do not believe that they can create art like humankind with real emotion. For returning to our original, everyone should be a part-time musician, painter, artist… And one day, it will be possible with Aurora.
