Food for Thought

Your challenge is to consider the journey of food to your plate, determine how disruptions from the COVID-19 pandemic are affecting the food supply locally and globally, and propose solutions to address these issues.

Agriculture Problems and it's Sustainable Solutions

Summary

We basically spent most of our time researching the data from NASA and various other website. Since, we couldn't gather it all, we have also used the locally available data in this project. So it's quite a bit of Global and Local project. And we are working on it to reduce the crisis of food in this pandemic.

How We Addressed This Challenge

Our Project helps to know what the challenges are and how to slove it. The problems farmers and local producers face are, the harvesting isn't easy due to lock-down and transportation is stopped. So farmers are having a huge loss. And our solutions include the proper method of storing the food, and utilizing it in manure if it decays somehow. In this way we can address this challenge.

How We Developed This Project

We are from country Nepal. I live in a village, and it's totally agricultural. So this thing to do something for my village inspire me to work on this challenge.
Quite a bit not having a elder one in our group and being 10th graders on Average, we couldn't fully understand every data. We just used a website and wrote the possible outcomes so everyone could access it.

Project Demo

We are really sorry to inform you that, we have not made any powerpoint and video, regardless of it, we have everything in our website going by www.agriculturewarrior.co
