Your challenge is to consider the journey of food to your plate, determine how disruptions from the COVID-19 pandemic are affecting the food supply locally and globally, and propose solutions to address these issues.

Summary

Our project create a software and use a transport to take the food to the consumer's house, creating a new consumption relationship between then. The group believes that our project stands out in terms of the best mission concept, as our proposal presents a creative and very plausible solution, especially in this pandemic moment, because it meets the COVID-19 prevention measures, causing it to decrease or end agglomerations in the markets. Considering that the project will bring the food to you without leaving your home and exposing you to a greater risk of contamination.

How We Addressed This Challenge

It will be an application for mobile and desktop, which will have a combination of functions such as GPS, data storage, and internet access. Firstly it will be developed by the mobile system, which is the system most used for the population, and later for the desktop version. It will have a light interface, so it can run on most smartphones. Besides, the project will create a new relationship between consumer and supplier, with an innovative way of transporting food to consumers' homes, collaborating with the physical and social distance, necessary at the present time.

How We Developed This Project

We chose this challenge considering the group's affinity with the theme, and knowledge, in the area. Concern about the current problem of food distribution, considering the pandemic and all the socioeconomic, socio-environmental and cultural impact. Our approach consists of the logistics and use of an online platform to promote better communication between producer and consumer. We used NASA data to understand the current food scenario in Brazil. We thought about idealizing the software project in addition to the logistics methodologies. Due to the lack of programmers in the group, we had problems in relation to presenting a prototype, but we believe that by passing the idea with creativity, we can pass on the necessary things
