Your challenge is to consider the journey of food to your plate, determine how disruptions from the COVID-19 pandemic are affecting the food supply locally and globally, and propose solutions to address these issues.

Satellite Based High Yielded Secure Farming

Summary

Covid-19 increased the awareness about food security. People desire clean and secure food. To make it available for people, we developed the Satellite Based High Yielded Secure Food program. By joining this program farmers will be notified about the need of the secure food market with the processed data provided by Sentinel satellites with SAR technology. Then these crops will be collected at a secure crop center. In this center crops will be cleaned by UV lights and certified as secure crop.

How We Addressed This Challenge

Our project increases consumers trust factor on farming products and removes extra time consuming steps of check ups in logistics

How We Developed This Project

We wanted to do a project that will stay relevant even after the covid outbreak.In order to ensure a long lasting project we chose a problem that will stay relevant for a long time delivering and producing food will always be a need as long as humanity exists.We analyzed the datas from Sentinel 1 and 2 satellites and used "C" as the main coding language in order to create our project.
