Our solution is to harness the period of quarantine; its aim is to prevent people from going out to buy their food and to encourage them to plant their own food by themselves at home. Planting at home differs from a certain crop to another, so, to ease the way of planting at home for many people, our solution is to provide the people with a mobile application that encourages and directs them to the way, by which they can grow the significant crops they need. This application will also present easy ways to make fertilizers at home. It will be a good tool for saving people’s lives and will allow them to make use of their time at home by making something useful. So, this application will be considered as source of entertainment for people during quarantine instead of staying home without doing anything.
We had figured out the problem we worked on from NASA providing data. Some of the explanations of this challenge helped us to address some of the disruption caused by COVID-19 pandemic and resulted obstacles in the agricultural field. As disruption to moving materials and people across borders, This is one of the factors that explained the problems of practicing the agricultural activities at this pandemic period; due to the quarantine and this will results in the squander of many seeds. So, we created a nice solution for solving this problem that encourages people to plant their own food at home.
