Food for Thought

Your challenge is to consider the journey of food to your plate, determine how disruptions from the COVID-19 pandemic are affecting the food supply locally and globally, and propose solutions to address these issues.

Summary

with Covid-19, the entire supply chain was affected. The demand for food has increased considerably by the consumer population, and also many farmers and food producers are losing their stock because they cannot transport. due to the pandemic based on this idea we created an app to connect consumers and producers. Thus avoiding paying values ​​above market as it has been happening.

How We Addressed This Challenge

Our project uses an online platform that will connect consumers stuck with their products to sell to the merchant who was paying a price above market value.

How We Developed This Project

One of the reasons that inspired the project was the creation of an application to connect small producers and marketers accumulating their products for losing, or being prevented from selling.
