This project seeks to reduce the distance of the produce to the consumers, locally maintaining the supply of general food, shortening the distance between the producer and the consumer also reduces the amount of freighted goods therefore the people being potentially exposed to a disease.
We identified problems in the actual state of food supply, then we investigated the implementation of a platform that reduces the distance from the producer to the consumer. In the discussions we explored for decentralization of food supplies by creating self contained crops and hydroponics.
We based the proposed solution from local events during the covid, as for devloping the system would be imprescindable to use satelite information to provide crops forecast.
We did not used the nasa databases to value this solution.
