The emergence and spread of infectious diseases, like COVID-19, are on the rise. Can you identify patterns between population density and COVID-19 cases and identify factors that could help predict hotspots of disease spread?

Summary

The dissemination of any disease can affect society, sanitarily and economically. The creation of a social security app for the possibly afflicted, where their health related information are sent to a web dashbord, where doctors and health agents would analyse and label the risk of the condition, in adition to a classification inteligence, gathering individual data from each member from a household in the same app, making it necessary to have only one smartphone in the entire home, analysing the data from a series of afflicted and healthy people making it possible to advise people about a possibly dangerous area to pass by.

How We Addressed This Challenge

Identifying particular factors from people afflicted by the disease, using health measurement paramaters to foresee a possible propagation of the disease and making possible an early isolation of the diseased

How We Developed This Project

Our major inspiration is being able to help people on these dark times, doing the right thing even if remotely. We worked together in a series of unique ideas, looking for one that would be viable and achievable and applicable in our current situation with the most well being impact, using tools to analyse, prototype to build models aiming to use Flutter and Python to develop our final project, having in mind a perfectly functional and working system to aid to better people's welfare during and after the Covid-19 crysis.
