We are developing a web app / mobile application where people can update their own symptoms whether they are COVID positive or not, and add friends / relatives to track their health as well.
The idea is also to understand the lockdown of all of the cities, using the satellite Sentinel-5P as a layer.
We understand from the media that theres people currently dying in their homes because there's absolutely no monitoring on them. After a brainstorm, we came up with some mockups and we studied the data available from sentinel-hub and we found out that we could use the Satellite Sentinel-5P to plot into our map the Nitrogen Dioxide levels from time to time, and understand the lockdown from the cities. If we could gather all of this information, plus daily reports that every user would answer daily, we could (and WILL) create a system that just based in the users answers, his location and also machine learning, we understand the risk of a local area and we can send alerts and demonstrate in a map.
We started the development divided in 3 verticals. Rodrigo took care of the backend (database and python APIS), documenting the apis on swagger. Celina was the development for web.app and Carlos was the dev for the APP (IOS and Android). The technology used was Python, ReactJS and React Native, server and database is being hosted on Amazon AWS.
