The emergence and spread of infectious diseases, like COVID-19, are on the rise. Can you identify patterns between population density and COVID-19 cases and identify factors that could help predict hotspots of disease spread?

Protecting the planet by using tracking application

Summary

The widespread of Coronavirus has become the issue of the world. Scientists and researchers are doing their best to find out a treatment to stop the virus. Adding some modifications to the “COVID Safe” application, our app is able to determine the location of the infected cases through a form including information about diagnosing themselves and get the results on the spot. Everyone using the app will see notifications for all participants in the same area to get all the preventive measures. And following up with doctors to help them isolate themselves. Thus, we can reduce cases.

How We Addressed This Challenge

In January 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) began investigating a cluster of medical cases caused by a new strain of the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2. SARS-CoV-2 causes the disease COVID-19, which has spreads rapidly throughout the world since numbers of people around the world is 7,596 billion and namely people above age 65 were particularly at risk from the virus as numbers of injured 1,58 million and numbers of people recovered are 2, 57 million and numbers of deaths are 370 thousand

and moreover, Satellites cannot detect the spread of the disease from space, but they can measure changes in Earth’s environment due to changes in human behavior. NASA and other federal agencies use satellite and airborne data to assess regional and global environmental, economic, and societal impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. This was the first side of the challenge. the second side of Human factors

The factor in everything we know about how people are reacting, social distancing, stay-at-home orders, and other squishy human factors.

How could the factor increase the spreading of COVID 19?

• close, prolonged personal contact, such as touching or shaking hands

• touching something with the virus on it, then touching your mouth, nose or eyes before washing your hands

• The risk for COVID-19 may be increased for certain settings such as:

• cruise ships

• crowded areas (such as public transit and shopping centers)

• gatherings (spiritual and cultural settings, theatres, sports arenas, festivals, and conferences)

• The risk of getting COVID-19 may be increased for travelers.

By these human factors and their increasing, the government can predict hotspots of disease spread in any area

Preventive measures to prevent the spread of infection

• stay at home unless you have to go to work

• talk to your employer about working at home if possible

• avoid all non-essential trips in your community

• do not gather in groups

• limit contact with people at higher risk, such as older adults and those in poor health

• go outside to exercise but stay close to home

• if you leave your home, always keep a distance of at least 2 arms lengths (approximately 2 meters) from others

• household contacts (people you live with) do not need to distance from each other unless they are sick or have traveled in the last 14 days.

To overcome this challenge, we decided to develop an application to diagnose people at their homes and collect information about their health in their areas, and all information needed to identify new cases that infected with Covid-19. The human factor that can predict the COVID-19. As the application can predict the state of the person. If the person was suspected with the virus, they will have the ability to diagnose themselves and collect the data about their health which will allow the governate to Confine the number of infected people in one region and the app could detect the place of the infected people from the information that collected, In addition, our application would send notifications for all participants in those areas; and display a badge of the infected participant so that if you live in the same area, you may know how many infected people around you. This application is going to provide certain information so that you shouldn't communicate with these people. If there were many cases in the same area you live, you should stay at home and follow the instructions through notifications of the application. Thus, we can reduce the communication with others and can stay at home by following up with doctors and consequently reduce the spread of the coronavirus and the number of infected people.

How We Developed This Project

The widespread of Coronavirus is a big challenge in the whole world. As it spread by human factors such as:

•crowded areas (such as public transit and shopping centers)

And we started to know this cry as the Chinese city of Wuhan then it spreads to the whole world countries and most of the infected people from all ages die. So, we started to search and find a way to overcome this challenge.

Developing this project depended on modifying some merits on the previous app " COVIDSafe application" to allow the users to identify the infected people and determining the location of them by receiving a notification about these people and their rejoin. Also, this app allows the government to deduce the number of Deaths and infected around the world because of using a personal information form which allows the people to diagnose themselves and get the result. After that the app allows the infected people to communicate with doctors to help them isolate themselves in a healthy way and follow all precautions

space agency data provided us with some information which allows us to understand the challenge and try to determine the human factor which affected on people and increase the ratio of infection so this helped us to get the idea of the app to deduce the region which infected by a human factor and try to control this spreading by using some condition to control these human factors.

This application with the modifying is software and we didn't implement and it will use code language. we face a problem with managing the time as we work in the last 48 hours and collect information about the languages that app use. if the government did not apply this app as a law, it will face a problem that not all people will apply and use it so it will obstacle its role and the rate of injection will increase.
