The project we made is very related to the challenge . we have, as the gag we thought about will reduce the percentage of taking the diseases by the human people, the gag will solve the problem of spreading the disease. A human is doing activities all over the time like traveling, working and trading. This gag will be used to detect the crowded areas to inform you that this area has a lot of people or it is a hot spot place for disease spreading and you shouldn’t go to this area, the gag will have all this information by GPS device and satellites. The gag will beep if you are near enough to a crowded venue.The gag will limit the Covid-19 cases and. Beside the gag, we also developed a website that contain all of FAQ and extra details and information about the disease.We hope this make an impact on people and rise their awareness to the risk of spreading the disease.
All the team members are from one Egyptian governorate, but in scattered positions. Recently in Egypt the cases number is in a rise and that threated us and pushed us to meet and thinking about the reasons for these suddenly numerous numbers. By observing this challenge from all sides, we find that the main factor is the human, not even in Egypt but in the whole world, human is a disease spreading main factor. Human who is carrying a disease to put it into another and this process is ongoing till we reach these serious consequences. So, this challenge is the most inspired one to us, because of its relation to our problems, and all team members after identifying the shown challenges, collected on this one.
Our project hope to address this problem by increasing people awareness toward the risk of ignoring the right dealing to this disease. We developed a website that include Covid-19 all FAQ and extra details and information, and it is visible to everyone. We also evolved a practical idea which is depending on a gag. Our idea is to connect an electronic device to a worn gag, this device is a GPS receiver that receive a signals about crowded, risk and hotspot regions from the satellites, once it received these signals an alarm connecting to this GPS will beep to alert the man and leaving this place immediately.
We gathered our data from sponsor space agencies. We searched for information about satellites and GPS and how they work together. We also resort to health-related organization like WHO and CDC to know the disease novelties and remarkable information that should be mentioned in our website.
We will use raspberry pi 3, raspberry pi 0, GPS module, small lamp, alarm and simple gag to create the prototype. We will code it using python language integrated with Arduino and present the whole project using power point presentation. We developed also a website including Covid-19 all FAQ and extra and information, and it is visible to everyone.
We faced communication problems because of staying homes. We faced other problems of choosing appropriate tools for prototype creating, problem of choosing appropriate programming language problem of coding these hardware devices by python, we also didn’t create our prototype because of the limited time. We achieved many targets, we cooperated together to finish the project. We evolved a practicable idea can be applied.
