Human Factors

The emergence and spread of infectious diseases, like COVID-19, are on the rise. Can you identify patterns between population density and COVID-19 cases and identify factors that could help predict hotspots of disease spread?

PHC - Planet Healt Card

Summary

The data obtained today on COVID-19 still do not provide us with enough information, making the virus difficult to understand, track and treat. With our solution, we aim to track and try to understand how the virus is spread, because we treat each citizen not only as statistic, but as a person who needs treatment, with our project we aim to list the vaccines of each citizen, blood type, allergies and so on. we will be able to triangulate the data in order to predict possible contagion zones. With this information in hand, we can create public policies that are more efficient and faster.

How We Addressed This Challenge

Faced with the main question of the challenge, the PHC manages to solve more than what was proposed, foreseeing not only the critical points of the disease, but also the emergence of new pandemics, also helping government entities and people with qualitative and assertive data about the world health.

How We Developed This Project

This challenge made us see the opportunity to exercise the social sciences
with the use of data for the community.
Our project was developed from the need to find the standards
the spread of infectious diseases, and during those moments we set out to
prototyping, design and development of the solution, we use reactjs as a framework for
the platform, we’ll use big data, AI, Blockchain, and of course nasa data to help prevent crowds,
and also covid data in real time.
