An Integrated Assessment

Your challenge is to integrate various Earth Observation-derived features with available socio-economic data in order to discover or enhance our understanding of COVID-19 impacts.

Summary

There are many people who can not get out of the house because of the current situation and applying for the procedures to avoid Covid-19 virus, whether you are infected with the virus or in the healthy insulation period, you can not go out. Therefore you can not buy any home or medical or daily needs and supplies as before, and on the other side there are many workers need money and income as they lost their source of income due to the virus but should protect themselves from infection to continue working so, the idea of our application is based on solving the problem for the healthy who need to work and infected people who need workers.

How We Addressed This Challenge

Our Project is going to help the challenge which is associated with the socio-economic problem caused bu the pandemic by making it easier for people to get what they want without getting out of their homes so that may be considered as a great solutions especially for infected people.that may make the economical status better and make everything available to buy for the infected and non-infected and the delivery people would be aware of the health status of the people they're delivering the products to.

How We Developed This Project

This challenge inspired us to make a project for solving it because it apparently causes negative effects on people mainly,  whom without  everything is going to be ruined on earth , from people's mental and physical health to the greatest companies working to produce medical supplies for the infected and non-infected. That shows that it can  almost be a disastrous problem to go through with all the consequences imagined and that makes a fiercely important and interesting challenge to solve. We used an online App maker (Adalo) because we went through some technical problems after coding a lot in our main project on android studio with XML programming language but we decided to make a simulator for our project even if we can't make a great coded one to demonstrate our idea and participate . We could win the the feeling of the great teamwork and experience in how to go through hackathons like NASA and finish developing something like an app in few days.We also won little simulator to work on later. We used NASA's space app agency data to collect more information about the rate of spreading of the virus to  know how it affects and the percentage of its danger to address it so, we have found the rate will decrease by decreasing the contacting between people which most of it happen due to working and buying supplies. So, we used the information and rate among local and international areas so the application can be international bin the future.
