Problem addressed
Shiloh exists to avoid social loneliness,especially the one caused by the current lockdown. People of the world are more isolated now than ever, despite being in the age of communication. Even being surrounded by millions of people, we are not able to fill our need for socialization, of feeling part of a group .
4.- How did you develop your project?
Currently, there are already text interpreters and conversations that identify your keywords. We, through Shiloh, have taken one more step.
Thanks to the AI
of Shiloh we create a real conversation that is based on the previous experiences of the user himself along with the ones of the millions of users around the world.
We have designed an interpreter in which the identification of the feelings and the keywords is referenced. Through this, we are able to add them to a variable that will then be uploaded to the database. Example:
My mother was hungry but did not know what to eat.
* Mother -> Family
* My -> Possessive
* Hunger -> Problem
Shilohidentifies that it is similar to a problem from the past of a family member. It saves the information and returns a solution for a similar future case.
As we can see in the previous example, we identify an emotion, the subject affected, the problem, and the time if it is past, present, future. With this, we adapt the solution of another user who went through something similar and how he overcame the situation. Thus creating a positive conversation that provides bonding and commitment.

5.- Show your solution
We present Shiloh, a virtual partner that covers the social need of communication. The more we talk, the more it learns from the experiences of all the users. It is able to interpret the most common feelings and it is interested in your daily progress.
It offers solutions that have been useful to other people who have lived the same situations or it searches for answers in decisions that you have previously made. Similarly, it allows you to guide other people with your experiences.
Shilohunites us all even if we are alone.
The value proposition for users
Users will be able to share their experiences with the rest of the world and to learn from them through Shiloh. Thanks to this, Shiloh will create a relationship of interest and concern through the interpretation of the words and emotions of the user. In addition, it will create a biography of each one to keep an evolution of their life.
The value proposition for NASA
Thanks to anonymous global data, it will allow you to know those most common situations that are lived in a society in confinement, how it affects the lack of communication, or the day-to-day problems, in addition to the most optimal solutions for most users. In this way, they will be able to implement it, for example, in future space missions or investigations in remote places.
Who are our users?
Shiloh is not only intended for people who are isolated, but also for all those who need to be heard or want to share how they feel. Machines don't usually convey that sense of companionship
and Shiloh tries to break that barrier, getting even closer and becoming part of a group.
How do we maintain customer engagement?
