The JoinIN app was created with the purpose of reducing loneliness and bringing people back to the routine of socializing. We understand that we are living a scenario that will remain indefinitely, and that we will continue with social distancing.
We adapted the idea of
socializing with the help of virtual reality in a routine that, according to some studies on human behavior, streaming or watching movies/series at home is increasingly gaining space in the daily lives of several generations.
Then, in the app, the user will have the opportunity to have a unique experience of watching movies and series with family members, even if they are socially distant.
After analyzing the negative side (loneliness) with the positive side (most generations use streaming) of
social isolation, we understand that there are new human behaviors in the current scenario.
With this perspective, we are thinking of a solution that is digital and that has a purpose of easing the feeling of loneliness.
It was in this sense that the Joinin app emerged!
In the two days of the challenge, the group focused on structuring the app's wireframes and storyboards. For the creation of the app screens, we used the Figma software, for better visualization.
In the next steps, we will focus on developing the back-end, front-end, creating the app, testing and then launching the product.
Joining the two issues mentioned above we had the idea of setting up a virtual cinema with virtual reality.
