The Isolation Solution

Social distancing policies enacted the world over during the COVID-19 pandemic have left many people socially isolated. Your challenge is to develop innovative solutions to combat social isolation.

Covid-19 Counter Herbal, Anti-Virus and Anti-Bacterial Surface Coating

Summary

Bacteria are commonly found in many common habitats, and these microorganisms found negatively affect the lives of most people. In this study, it is aimed to minimize the microorganisms in the common use areas by vegetative means and reduce them to the level of harm. In the project works, the Veronica L. plant will be used. The healthy contact area of people will be increased by coating on the contact surfaces in common areas.

How We Addressed This Challenge

The problem addresses Covid-19, the global epidemic that took place worldwide. Bacteria and viruses have been detected on the surfaces in common areas. Thanks to the characteristics of the plant to be used in the project, it will be ensured that the bacteria and viruses that cause disease in common areas are minimized. Observing NASA and other Eart, Covid-19 from satellite data will be given priority over the regions where it is concentrated.

How We Developed This Project

Based on Covid-19 data, we learned that the risk of contamination is higher by contact. Considering the minimization of this contamination risk, we thought the isolation hood is the most suitable for the project. By looking at the spread rates of Covid-19 according to NASA space data, we found that there are more viruses on the surfaces in common areas. Thus, we have shaped our project based on Nasa space agency data. Communication disruptions occurred in our team due to the global epidemic. Despite this, we believed in our project and aimed to advance it to the end.
