The Isolation Solution

Social distancing policies enacted the world over during the COVID-19 pandemic have left many people socially isolated. Your challenge is to develop innovative solutions to combat social isolation.

Summary

People are bored because they have stayed at home. We aim people to stay at home healthy. We want to protect social isolation with our app. We added some missions to our app such as taking a photo related with our topic and talking with our chatbot. People can earn cryptocurrency with our app. And,they can spend a very good time by talking with our chatbot and taking a photo which is suitable for our topic. Thereby,we can obtain data. Furthermore,NASA may use this data for their AI Models.

How We Addressed This Challenge

People all around the world have stayed at home for a very long time. We have stayed at home for a very long time as well. Therefore, we have the same feelings with the people who benefit from our project. We emphasized and realized the problems of people who stay at home. People usually get bored and depressed because of the same routines. They look for different applications. They want to see some changes around them.

How We Developed This Project

We inspect all the challenges one by one. We thought that the isolation solutions is the most suitable for our ideas. We thought about the feelings of people who stay at home. Then, we awared that an application is very good to increase the sense of social connection among people. When we speak with our mentors, we also thought that we can provide NASA without using any space agency data. Instead, we give the data of whole people who use our application. To create this application, we use our personal computers, Python and Kaggle dataset for the image processing and MarvelApp for the prototype of our application. We had some connection problems because we are away from each other. Otherwise, we had a very good experience to create a project and met people, mentors which are very good.
