Summary

The challenge consists on find a solution that promotes well-being by taking care of people's physical and financial health, due to the isolation action in which they were imposed, increasing the risks of psychological diseases and the statistics of unemployment in society. The application offers more security for the client to go to establishments, consciously guiding people, avoiding large crowds and the dissemination of the virus, increasing the speed and efficiency of service and also increasing customer satisfaction, benefiting everyone involved in the operation.

How We Addressed This Challenge

Due to social isolation, people began to feel the emotional impacts generated by confinement and economic uncertainties. The doubts generated by the instability of the world, leave their lives unsafe. Thinking about the physical, psychological and financial health of possible users, we started a project capable of protecting them from places of greater risk, with greater agglomeration, and at the same time, it allows a gradual and safe opening of negotiations, keeping in mind the protection of the work of people who are already vulnerable to the current situation.

How We Developed This Project

Isolation is a problem faced around the world and affects everyone's life psychologically. Thinking of participating actively and positively at this moment, we found in this challenge a form of help. For us, it’s interesting to develop a method that can reduce this impact on people and improve our lives as well. In today's world, where people do not leave their cell phones, we studied the feasibility of the project to launch a live population density map application, thus seeking to solve agglomeration problems. With the data collected during this pandemic period, we were able to observe a great focus of human concentration, enabling the development of tools that can help as affected regions that can be detected by this data. As the prototype, as tools for this project, it was mainly the Google Maps API that enabled the interaction of live maps, associated with a web page coded with JavaScript. Our goal is to create the mobile release application with React Native and a back-end server that stores temporary data for the user's live map interaction.
