The project addresses the challenge of "The Solution to Isolation" through challenges and games imposed on the participants to help them improve their emotional states in their isolation. NASA data was used to carry out the dynamics of the game in addition to their own ideas based on sociological and psychological studies.
As people are not used to isolation, we realized that they suffer from problems of anxiety, stress, depression. All this is due to the lack of experience in living with their group. Cases of domestic abuse and suicide have been seen. Due to the lack of public awareness, people resort to leaving their homes, increasing the problem. We want to minimize all the problems behind the doors. We want children, parents, siblings, friends, to feel good in their homes.
Taking into account all of the above, we decided to carry out recreational activities to help the mental state of the group. We based our decision on the project that was carried out in Antarctica, on the ERA project, on advice given by the astronaut Anne McClain, as well as on peer-reviewed studies that deal with psychological issues produced by isolation.
The main idea was to develop an application for Android operating system which contained all the information of the activities that can be found in this link https://maysplac.us/index.html, in addition to other functions that had been raised. But due to lack of knowledge in the field of mobile application development, it was not possible to carry it out.
