Although we may be physically apart, we hope that our work on this project does its share in reminding everyone that we're still interconnected through pictures of the same earth.
To give everyone a sense of connectedness despite being under long periods of social isolation due to the COVID 19 pandemic, we use pictures of the world as viewed from space courtesy of NASA. Some photos are taken by astronauts whose isolation in space is also softened by the awesome view of the same Earth, viewed from space. And yes, somewhere in that blue planet is their home. Elsewhere in the same planet is the home of their children, their parents, siblings, friends, colleagues, and everyone else.
