The Andromeda team project covers the challenge lighting the path since the tools and data provided were used to develop analyzes and help detect human movement and activity before and during the pandemic.
We chose this challenge in order to help rulers make better decisions during this emergency by analyzing satellite images in a much more accurate way. As an objective, we decided that this would be a means for all the rulers to make better decisions before this type of situation. In this proyect we use data from NASA's Suomi npp satellite to get infrared night images. To develop our project, we used MatLab software and the image analysis package, as hadware, the infrared sensor for night images of the SUOMI NPP satellite. Our problems were clearly presented at the time of developing the code to obtain results, and as a result we have a magnificent experience in carrying out these types of challenges and of course we learned about many topics, applications and data that we had never used.
