our challange is that Corona virus caused the state to take a number of decisions, including stopping air flights and establishing a ban and stopped working in companies and factories so the production speed stopped as all the manual work had stopped, and this will cause a threat to the economy of the countries. but some people had to go to their jobs to spend their life supplies, as not all of people can work from home and thus people are mixing, so the rate of positive cases of the covid-19 increased, while others remained in their homes. For these reasons, we thought about the development of smart watch to be medical watch (Medical smart watch) to help continuing of the human activities by a safe way. This will help opening companies and factories that have closed and continue the natural work movement, but consciously to keep people from getting infection with covid-19, the economic level of countries will increase.
Our idea does not depend on reducing the disease or even its disappearance. Rather, our idea depends on the return of the activities of the population. It's depend on the idea of smart watch but we use it in a medical way to help continuing the human activities safely. So we add some opptions to the smart watch. These opptions are that the watch will vibrate:
1- if you are less than 2 meter away from anyone
2- every 30 minutes to remember you to wash your hands
3- if your temperature has increase more than 37 degrees.
We as a team do not want to rush into development, but we must first communicate the idea of the project to all people, and then we are developing where people who are not interested in the project first are interested after development and the development will be when we receive attention from users
Her idea revolves around using the smart watch in a medical way.
The compute module of Intel called Intel Edison is slightly larger than a SD card. The specialty of Edison is – It can be used for wearables also it is enough powerful to control robots. It is 35.5 × 25.0 × 3.9 mm module also equipped with Yocto, a Linux OS . It has an onboard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, perfect for IoT projects. We can connect to Edison remotely and can run commands or access the file system. This gives lots of flexibility to developers via SSH. Its specs will definitely impress you, they are:
Edison can be used with Arduino IDE but to get most out of it you can use other programming languages like Python, Node. JS, C/C++. Intel has its own IDE called Intel XDK IoT edition which makes programming with Edison easy. While setting up the programming environment for Edison you can choose between Arduino IDE, Intel XDK or Eclipse.
When the topic is difficult to collect data, as there was a live broadcast that explained all that was required and also the use of some colleagues participating in the same competition and also the sources. the time was not enough to make deep searches about this topic and didn't make a prototype to make sure if this idea is working or not.
Our achievement is that we find a good way to communicate with people and do our jobs safely. And the idea of smart watches will not cost a lot as it's already exist but we will add more opptions to help us in covid-19 pandemic.
