How We Addressed This Challenge

The project emerged thanks to the identification of the problem suffered by the tourism sector in the world due to the pandemic and due to that the team developed a solution based on data and technology that could solve this problem in order to foster the sector in the post-pandemic period.

How We Developed This Project

n view of the impacts caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and social isolation, directly affecting the world economy, and especially the tourism sector. We also did a survey and noticed the change in people's behavior and their post-pandemic fears about traveling past this period.

The data from space agencies were used as a foundation for choosing the relevant points in the generated solution. In addition, the wide variety of data from these agencies can be used to feed the chatbot in the future.

The tools used in this project, consists of the blip platform for the development of the chatbot through Telegram as a messaging service.

The main problem of the project was to find the relevant data to our challenge and the proposed solution, in addition to the difficulty of integration with NASA APIs in a short period of time.

The achievements achieved by the multidisciplinary team, the successful completion of the project, the human connections made between the team, facilitators and mentors of the event, the collaboration of the team with members of different skills and backgrounds.
