A New Perspective

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, protected areas and other forms of wilderness areas (e.g., arboretums, beaches, parks, marine monuments) have been closed worldwide. Your challenge is to lead the effort to examine any potential impacts of reduced human traffic in such local protected natural environments.

Cash Back Water

Summary

The project consists of examining the correlation of reduced human traffic with fauna and flora. One idea is to transform this relationship formally, addressing how the main focus or excessive consumption of plastic and water demand turns us into rentable products, exchanges recyclable materials for water and transfers them to used multifunctional products Both in health and on earth and maintenance for space astronauts.

How We Addressed This Challenge

Unfortunately, drinking water is not a reality for many countries, including Brazil in about 18.4 million people who do not have access to daily water supplies, according to the State University of São Paulo 500 people die for 15 minutes across world. According to research by WWF or plastic, including those used in disposable bottles, it generates a cost of more than US $ 8 billion in global economy, per year about 10 million tons of plastic for oceans, until 2030 launched or equivalent to 26 thousand plastic bottles for each square kilometer of sea.

How We Developed This Project

When the water cashback produced also, where you will be able to carry out a materials exchange you were recycling for water liters for consum as a whole. After data surveys, we want to change the dependency on plastic consumption, which is having a high rate in this pandemic due to the high delivery rate and among others, and with the focus on sustainability, we want to make viable biodegradable bottles, which will have seeds of trees in them according to their natural habitat. Also being generated the cash back of water, where you can perform an exchange of recyclable materials for liters of water for consumption as a whole.

Project Demo

Solving the coexistence between human beings and the environment? After the start of the pandemic we had an increase of 25% of the waste.

The cash back water as well as recycle materials and provide water, makes these materials are transformed into something new that can be used both in hospitals and in space by astronauts.

Our packaging is biodegradable with a tree seed for planting.

By accessing the platform, in addition to saving the environment, you can also help others, incredible, right? We are the team that changes its concept of recycling.
