A New Perspective

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, protected areas and other forms of wilderness areas (e.g., arboretums, beaches, parks, marine monuments) have been closed worldwide. Your challenge is to lead the effort to examine any potential impacts of reduced human traffic in such local protected natural environments.

The use of augmented reality technology in preserving the water environment and beaches.

Summary

The objective of this work is to introduce Augmented and Mixed Reality technologies in aquatic leisure activities. In order to reduce the burden on the water areas and the beaches, in this idea, augmented reality is used to build the shape of water bodies and what they contain of objects that can be seen from anywhere using 3D technology. We have proposed a new device which is autonomous, mobile and easily transportable by one person. It can also be easily installed.

How We Addressed This Challenge

The project fulfills the requirements of the challenge whose purpose is focused on clarifying the impact of krona on the various environmental regions and how they contribute to solving these problems, and therefore we have worked on studying the impact on the beaches in particular, as well as turtles that live there and how to use the data provided by NASA and augmented reality technology to create a similar environment that is studied and done Also by protecting the natural environment.

How We Developed This Project

We thought about this idea to make people able to reacts online, enjoy and learn new information from their homes. Augmented reality can be a game changer. “We can track engagement and impact. We find that the dwell time on such augmented reality experiences is significantly longer compared to viewing static content. The level of interactivity helps people engage more with the problem of seas and beaches pollution.” we can develop this device by using NASA`s data which is collected using satellites ,To know information about sea life and what we can find under the water related to the life of marine creatures and how to solve its problems. We faces some challenges during our search because not all sites present clear information or clear data about seas and oceans, also all the previous ways to solve these problems are traditional and there is no creation or new ideas. The last problem we faced is to communication to talk about the idea, although we made online sessions and it was useful but not as well as real meetings. The technology that we focused on is 3D technology to create real imagine for sea life.
