No one can deny the damage to the air indoors due to the domestic quarantine and corona virus. Our project solves the problem of air pollution in a closed safety and prevents the spread of the Corona virus through several filters. Therefore, this project is completely conducive to this challenge, especially in the Corona pandemic conditions
We chose this challenge because air surrounds us so we are trying to make it clean without viruses or any particles to help livings organisms stay healthier and safer, especially after Corona virus (Covid-19).
Our approach to developing this project was research, where we used the resources from NASA and ESA that helped us find a solution to this challenge, in addition we developed it to suit current conditions.
The data from space agency helped us to know more about solutions that NASA used it in space and on earth to filter the air from bacteria, viruses and dust.
The materials that enter the manufacturing of the filter are: a plastic box and an electric fan to stimulate air flow through the filter and the filter itself and controls to control the fan speed and convert the air purifier to open and close. Filters are made of plastic fibers (such as polypropylene) linked to up to 5% acrylic (the same compound that connects the latex coating to the home). Equipped with a subsequent filter made of activated carbon and another filter from Polypropylene in the filter medium is a plastic. Manufacturers make this plastic out of fossil fuels like oil.
We have faced many problems, including that the team members are 3 members, so the division of labor on us was difficult, and also that time was not enough for us, but we tried hard and succeeded, and this is considered an achievement for us.
