Purify the Air Supply

Has your time spent indoors increased during the COVID-19 pandemic as a result of stay-at-home and shelter-in-place policies worldwide? Your challenge is to use the International Space Station (ISS) as inspiration and develop a system to monitor and/or purify indoor air. It is entirely up to you whether the system you design is able to be used on Earth (for example in homes, businesses, transportation, etc.) and/or in space.

AirGAng - Silver Nanoparticles

Summary

nanotechnology based solution to killing viruses and bacterias that are carried by the air

How We Addressed This Challenge

Airborne diseases impacts all humankind, specially those under the poverty line, living in highly polluted regions and with previous diseases.

AirGAang  is a  nanotechnology based solution to enhance the quality of life by killing viruses and bacterias that are carried by the air. The system consists in the spread of silver nanoparticles that penetrate and kill microorganisms

How We Developed This Project

We were inspired by the possibility of impact on the real world.
We used 5 Whys on problem framing, brainwriting, brainstorming, dot voting e matrix impact x value to select solutions. Used tools for video editing, modeling, rendering 3D product and PowerBi to view data.
