Our target in this stage is to help people who are most exposed to the damages of home gases and emissions which take the lion’s share in air contamination. A system will be erected that detects CO2 and collects data about it, the location, the quantity of CO2, and the time of detecting. Then the data will be sent to a mobile app; this application will give a warning if Co2 is still present in the atmosphere. Afterwards, this data will be sent to The Environment Organization and they will deal with this problem. Via making them aware of such a peril, they can set the wheels in motion and battening down the hatches about taking their precautions.
In a world where riddles, and impediments to better have been part and parcel of life, pollution is not a newly met-with woe; it has been a dagger dawn and a heinous monster jeopardizing the humanity presence, developed, and developing countries alike. This encumbrance’s ramification and ravages are ubiquitous and repugnant. The dearth in employing modern technology in remedies for such a minefield has become palpable where there is a paucity in efficacious solutions. For the sake of time and effort, we have decided on specifying our work; air pollution was rested upon as a picked-and-chosen challenge after rumination and musing. Air pollution assumes airs all people of all ages. It kills about 7 million people every year. All countries around the world are gridded themselves and mustering their forces to jettison or palliate this conundrum.
The goal of our project is to solve the problem of air pollution as it is now one of the perilous, pernicious minefields worldwide. Helping workers in factories en bloc since they are the most people affected by the damages of CO2 is paramount. The statistics from the WHO states that the workers in factories suffer from a plethora of health problems and diseases. 37% of all cases of back pain, 16% of hearing loss, 13% of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, 9% of lung cancer, 2% of leukemia and 8% of depression. So, we are trying to help them so that they could do their work without any worries.
Our target in this stage is to help people who are most exposed to the damages of factory gases and emissions which take the lion’s share in air contamination and also helping people that are home today because of corona.
In this system, the following sensors will be: MQ-6, MQ-9, and DHT 11. These are the sensors that will be used with the following functions: for MQ-6 it will measure the butane and LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) levels in the place our system is put in. for MQ-9 will measure the CO2 concentration in the air. DHT 11 will be responsible for measuring temperature which will be set to raise an alarm at 1970 Celsius because such temperature if reached in factories could cause a lot of health abysses. For all these sensors to function, coding them with the proper programming language is of essence. C++ was the linchpin, the first and last language in operating our project. We made the app in MIT App inventor.
air pollution’s exacerbation mounted and augmented the risks of dying by dint of coronavirus, begot a-fifteen-percent increase in the death rate of COVID-19 infection pursuant of the ABC news. Ergo this would be a stupendous opportunity for our solution which is focused on soothing the air pollution problem.
