Our challenge is to find a solution to make the air free to avoid get covid_19 as it is a virus transfer through the air so if the air is free from coronavirus so the people in the filtered place will be safe and the surfaces in this place will be clean and it is the main purpose of our project. Our project is a filter to filtrate air continually through 8 states to remove bacteria, smokiness, dust and actually kill the virus by a carbon filter and silver. Also, our filter design looks like NASA new aircraft as carbon filter produces water like that which help by a large amount to keep people in the closed place safe so the people can return to their work again and begin to live a normal life.
We chose this challenge because we are currently spending a very long time in homes and enclosed places due to the spread of the Covid_19 and the application of street curfews and quarantine. But staying in homes also needs to sterilize the air to reduce the virus, so we chose this challenge to have the opportunity to offer a solution to this problem that might kill human beings.
We chose the idea of a simple project to develop its idea and make it better, as we added that it has a carbon filter to purify the air from viruses and bacteria, and we decided to add a silver or KDF-55 component to filter to reduce bacteria reproduce in the filter. And also for the development of the project, we decided to add a device to pump the ethyl alcohol in the air and be concentrated at 70 or 75%, so that the air would be purified more.
In the international space station, some filters and plants absorb toxic gases, viruses, microbes, and bacteria from the air and convert them into water or get rid of them by changing the filters every period .. This is what we did in our project, which is that the filter absorbs toxic gases and viruses like the Covid_19 from the air in the same way the absorption of the international space station and change filters every time.
Of the problems that we faced the difficulty of saving materials that we will make the filter of them and because of the quarantine we couldn't try this idea in reality. of achievements, we have developed a simple project limited to the absorption of smokes and dust to be able to eliminate viruses such as the Covid_19 and can purify the air more than before.
