Purify the Air Supply

Has your time spent indoors increased during the COVID-19 pandemic as a result of stay-at-home and shelter-in-place policies worldwide? Your challenge is to use the International Space Station (ISS) as inspiration and develop a system to monitor and/or purify indoor air. It is entirely up to you whether the system you design is able to be used on Earth (for example in homes, businesses, transportation, etc.) and/or in space.

Purifying air from COVID-19 in a simple and creative way

Summary

Covid-19 virus must be ended soon. So that till scientists discover a therapy to that pandemic, its effects must decrease by decreasing the virus in air and on surfaces. Filter is a perfect idea to purify air from it. As this filter will contain simple filter to purify air from relatively large microbes and viruses. As water, alcohol and Quaternary Ammonium compound can kill that virus so they will be mixed together and air will pass through them. As air is less dense than water it will raise up

How We Addressed This Challenge

The challenge is how to purify the air. So the idea is to purify air by using water and some alcohol as COVID-19 do not live in the pure water. a traditional filter is also used to pure the air from any thing. So we can use it in hospitals and homes

How We Developed This Project

as covid-19 is spreading in air so we decided to decrease the percentage of it in air even if in the places which are concentrated with people. space agency data helped us to know details about covid-19 structure and how to kill it. so we collected all these information and put them in one accurate filter.we used some alcohol,water, Quaternary ammonium compounds,pipes, suctions and a and a traditional filter to kill it.our achievement is to breath fresh air without fear from covid-19 virus.
