Purify the Air Supply

Has your time spent indoors increased during the COVID-19 pandemic as a result of stay-at-home and shelter-in-place policies worldwide? Your challenge is to use the International Space Station (ISS) as inspiration and develop a system to monitor and/or purify indoor air. It is entirely up to you whether the system you design is able to be used on Earth (for example in homes, businesses, transportation, etc.) and/or in space.

a device uses nano technology can used at homes and it can purify air at two stages.

Summary

our project is consists of two stages of purification of air. the first stage we use polymerization to make a strings of polymers that has properties like attract smog and dust and make with these strings filtered sieve that filter air from large particles of dust and pollution in air. the second stage is to use nano to attract polluted particles with thickness of 2.5 nano-meter which is small particles. now we have a device purify air from large and small dust in two stages.

How We Addressed This Challenge

the challenge is to purify the air and our project purify the air and it will benefit us in confront covid-19 because we need to keep our air and homes clean. and the project will be useful against dust and sand in summer.

How We Developed This Project

one of the causes of the wide spreading of covid-19 is the bad ventilation areas so we choose this challenge to solve this problem. we use the space data to understand how the air filtration systems working. we will use chemical materials like: Monomers and will use coding languages in Nanotechnology. we have many problems in find an idea but we beat it together by hard working and team working, we achieve a lot of things, new information and grow the team working. in addition getting knowledge and generating a useful idea that may help people in the future.
