Purify the Air Supply

Has your time spent indoors increased during the COVID-19 pandemic as a result of stay-at-home and shelter-in-place policies worldwide? Your challenge is to use the International Space Station (ISS) as inspiration and develop a system to monitor and/or purify indoor air. It is entirely up to you whether the system you design is able to be used on Earth (for example in homes, businesses, transportation, etc.) and/or in space.

Summary

A sensor that will scan the temperature of people suspected of Covid-19, among other diseases that contain the symptom of fever, at the entrance door of any location and means of transport (by a line behind the equipment with a distance of 2m between them), to prevent crowding and spread of the coronavirus or other possible virus. Due to body temperature, being very high than normal, the sensor disapproves the entry into the place and means of transport, otherwise the sensor approves the person'

How We Addressed This Challenge

Assessing air quality, allowing people to clean their hands with 70% gel alcohol and body temperature through a height-height sensor (the sensor being too high that normal disapproves the person's entry into the room and means of transport, otherwise the sensor approves its entry). As through studies there is still no possibility of detecting and proving the virus itself, the sensor will analyze it by the body temperature of the suspected person. In order to suspend the presence of suspicious individuals in places that may generate agglomeration and mitigate possible contamination.

How We Developed This Project

After hours of research on ways to combat the spread of Covid-19 through the air, we concluded the unification of 3 possible 'fighters', air assessor, hand hygiene with 70% gel alcohol and a body temperature sensor, we decided to merge these three possible solutions into one, making it portable and unique.

After a vote, the biggest hanking idea in voting was chosen democratically, with the approach of being something simple and practical, making it viable and accessible for anyone, for its development in hardware it will be used for the prototyping component Arduino and software in C / C ++ language. The main challenges were how to unify all solutions in one, being something challenging, but with a lot of research we got a base to elaborate.
