Given the theme of our challenge and the need to reassure the planet, we decided to focus on atmospheric issues because it is not a much discussed issue in everyday life and because we recognize that this subject needs attention. Our inspiration was to work with satellite data in order to transmit information about pollution to the population and at the same time encourage the search for solutions to a problem that affects society in general, because the increase in air pollution is directly related to the increase in the mortality rate from respiratory diseases, which at this time also involves covid-19 , for these reasons, we developed the project with the approach of improving respiratory health through an application that will notify about air quality.
The project was conceived after some questions about the challenge, the group discussed ideas until reaching a consensus, we were filtering the ideas, debating them and, finally, joining them for a better result. We use search tools to be within the theme covered. Our biggest problem was identifying what should be done at each stage, we get lost a few times, and we understand that it is part of the process and we can improve. Nasa data were used to query satellite data in order to understand the quantitative and aggravating of the problem and image for pitch presentation.
We used the prototyping methodology present in software engineering and adobe XD programs, Adobe Photoshop to prototype the user experience (interfaces) and Adobe Premiere for promotional video editing aimed at the feasibility of the project. And the canva to develop the arts.
