The period of lockdown during the pandemic will make so the emission of greenhouse gasses lessen in 5% this year according to a renowned Stanford professor, Rob Jackson, using this fact as our starting point we idealized a game in which the main goal is to stimulate individuals to help maintain this emission in lower levels even after the threat of Covid-19 is long gone. To achieve this goal we will use an approach of an increasing number of sustainable tasks each week to jumpstart a habit in the player.
Our main source of inspiration was the urge to show ''regular'' people that even they can change the world a bit at a time, and helping these individuals develop a habit of incorporating sustainability in their daily life. We found creative and appealing ways to bring space agency data in the life of our players by incorporating facts and information in the formulation of the questions and dilemmas that you have to resolve as a mayor in Mr. Mayor. All of the illustrations were made using Krita and Aseprite. The coding language used was Javascript.

We used Data from NASA during the process of formulation of the questions and dilemmas our game was going to address. In order to have scenarios that are both real science facts and also appealing to our public we used data from NASA GIOVANNI and NASA PATHFINDER in the micro context of a city.
