The challenge chosen was: “Quiet Planet”, our project aims to maintain the positive environmental changes that came as a result of social isolation and, over time, to alleviate the problems that our environment currently faces, thus creating a planet where the ecosystem can provide quality life for all species.
We intend to achieve this goal by raising awareness among the population, especially the Centennial generations that are most concerned with environmental and social causes and Millennials that were born in a time when technology had rapid development, and consequently, had to adapt to this new reality.
We will begin to train citizens for the future so that the environment is not destroyed, as global surveys carried out like Masdar's, with 5,000 young people considered post-millennium in 20 countries on all continents show that 40% are concerned with the climate, consequently the planet. Still, 59% are interested in developing activities in areas related to sustainability.
We will promote the social inclusion of people with visual and hearing disabilities, in which, just as an example, in Brazil, according to the IBGE / 2010 census, more than 506 thousand people have no vision and the population with severe vision impairment six million.
Applying the Agile methodology, at first we got together to align and define the objective to be achieved, that is, to understand the essence of the proposed problem.
We brainstormed to gain insights and tackle the problem. We used the accelerated exercise of Crazys 8, in which each member of the group presented 8 ideas and of all presented, 10 were only listed and later, 3 were chosen to be chosen only one.
After the choice, we started with the impact that our project would have, so we decided to think not only now, but in the future, so we chose users who felt the pains and needs would have to be solved.
A hybrid app with an educational and interactive game was defined so that it could solve the problem proposed in challenge 01. This application is full of information from Nasa, Esa, Jaxa and Cnes, all gathered in a device so that it can facilitate information and form conscious citizens the effect of your actions on nature. Still, to answer the doubts the character Nina-19 and the Astronaut were elaborated in Adobe Illustrator, the prototype of our screens was made in Adobe XD and with the aid of Adobe Photoshop we applied in mockups for a more realistic visualization.
For the development of our game that is in Quiz format, we collect data and information from different satellites so that we can formulate the questions in a didactic way, the data are also necessary because, whenever an answer is given, Nina complements it with more data relevant videos, or any source that may be adding more content to the user
After this stage, we put everything together in a prototype to be tested and validated with our Centennial and Millennius users.
