How We Addressed This Challenge

The Action in Life gamified platform uses data from NASA to inform and educate users about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), encouraging their participation in the search for a better world in an easy, relaxed and, above all, without leaving home.

How We Developed This Project

With the proliferation of Covid-19 - a virus that negatively impacted the progress of the listing due to its many possibilities for temporarily restricted practices - the lack of information on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the general public, which it already had, according to our own research on a form created by the team, a significant percentage, only became even more aggravating with the rules of social isolation, after all, who already knew this listing and was an active participant had to shape their activities for home office, and who did not know and / or just met recently did not have the opportunity to participate effectively as in normal situations.

Action in Life is an interactive and educational gameplay platform through a specific application or web page. The game was thought and planned to, in addition to meeting, connect 3 (three) purposes, which are:
Knowledge about the SDGs
According to the validation of the research released by the team on social networks such as Whatsapp and Facebook, more than 56% were unaware of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals, and 53.6% agreed that the most interesting way to learn would be through an educational website / game.
Mapping and analyzing data
Within the game, there will be some questionnaires related to the region where the user resides in order to identify the pains of that niche and, based on their geolocation, the player will participate in the challenges of the chosen SDG, through this, it will be possible to map the countries and regions where each Objective has the greatest impact, being viewed on the user's landing page, in addition to the data provided by NASA.
The incentive to participate
Through challenges and sum of points, we aim to encourage users to replicate the practices carried out within the game in their respective real lives, being updated through reports, videos and photos, in the future creating a connection network with other users and projects volunteers.
