Summary

Our project is a website which brings databases from NASA, UNO and other scientific resources mutually and presents them as an interactive map with faceted search to help researches related to the SDG's and preventive measures for the spread of diseases, such as Covid-19.

How We Addressed This Challenge

The project works as a tool in order to give an overview of the necessities of a place for governments, researchers and general people who are looking for information related to the SDG's

How We Developed This Project

We chose the SDGs and COVID-19 challenge because in the brainstorming step we realized that it was very hard to get the essential information for researches about the effects/causes of a pandemic. We are gathering that information and making a website where you can visualize in an interactive world map. For that, we are using Mapbox, deck.gl and react.

The main problem we had was finding usable information and converting it. Some of the achievements are making the website work, besides getting and converting useful data.
