The primary target group of the project is elderly and disabled individuals. Especially, people who are not in hospitals like villages, towns or in places where it is difficult to go to the hospital can be used. Pulse control is another target group of the project in order to detect high fever in babies early and prevent sudden infant death during sleep. As another target audience, it is important for soldiers to check whether vital activities continue or not, and for rescue purposes. Thanks to this kit on a soldier going to the operation, its vitality can be determined from the state of the pulse and temperature. Thus, the priority of recovery is made for the first living person. In addition, a GPS sensor to report the location on the kit can be added.Deprem kuşağı içinde yer alan ülkemizin özellikle fay hattında bulunan şehirlerinde oluşabilecek bir deprem sonrası arama kurtarma ekiplerinin depremzedelere ulaşmasında etkili bir araç olacaktır.
We used the module named NodeMCU ESP8266 when prototyping the health kit. This module can both connect to wireless networks and set up a wireless network access point. In addition, since the module has its own processor, the input and output pins on it can also be used.
After placing our module on the breadboard, we integrated the temperature sensor, pulse sensor and resistors. We also used the LCD screen as the display screen.
We used the temperature sensor to measure the ambient temperature and the temperature of the area it touches precisely.
The pulse sensor easily measures the heart rate from the finger or over any vein. There is a small space on the front of the sensor and an LED and light sensor in this space. The LED light shines towards the place to be measured and the light sensor evaluates the data collected from the rays reflected back and measures the pulse. We also transferred this data to the phone application via wifi. We can watch them instantly.
With this simple and effective system that we designed with the principle of “Patients' needs come first”, we offer the opportunity to evaluate patients quickly.
With the system we do, we increase patient satisfaction by bringing more humane approaches to the health sector and reaching patients more easily.
A warning is sent to the mobile application when there is a rise or fall in the measured fever and pulse information via the health kit. The patient, who receives this warning, speaks to the doctor or healthcare provider over the phone. By listening to the patient's complaints, the doctor will have an idea about the patient's history through a channel related to the patient information in the e-pulse application. It provides the patient to be directed to the required unit or offers simple health advice.
