Where There’s a Link, There’s a Way

Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, there has been a proliferation of websites and portals developed to share resources about the topic. Your challenge is to find innovative ways to present and analyze integrated, real-time information about the environmental factors affecting the spread of COVID-19.

Summary

In view of the disorderly dissemination and fake information without scientific basis, we thought of an innovative way to talk about COVID-19, gathering and facilitating access to information in a personalized web dashboard, with fluidity and curation of data and news, extinguishing fake news. .The user continually answers questions that will be analyzed by the AI of the platform that will modify his dashboard, personalizing it. We connect the user to data from portals and agencies, such as ministries of health and NASA, and we also correlate data for the user to better understand each moment of the pandemic. You can still receive notifications through your cell phone and email.

How We Addressed This Challenge

The challenge Where there is a link there is a path that describes the need for us to be able to correlate data from the most diverse agencies and sites to better understand the spread of covid-19. We created a website to inform people, with personalized, reliable and dynamic data, leading them to readjust their routine and not spread fake news. Our main goal is to make Covid-19 adaptable to each one, showing you shocking info.

How We Developed This Project

The huge amount of fake news being released is bothering everyone. The idea was to facilitate the dissemination of news produced by entities and institutions that are trusted and committed to the quality of information, including information made available by NASA and relating it to other sources of reliable information. We use web page construction tools (angular + fire store database) and audio and image editing for video production (pitch). The thought solution required a lot of dedication from everyone on the team in the execution of a prototype that was the most reliable to the initial idea, but not everything went as expected. We had some problems with news and obtaining links and some data.
