A World Away

Your challenge is to identify pandemic social problems that may have collateral effects in remote locations (such as space). How will you prepare for the collateral effects in remote locations, and/or evaluate on-Earth support and remote location risks, including psychological and technical risks?

XODÓ

Summary

The XODÓ is a Guardian Robot made to help astronauts to handle with pre-existing mental risks due to their mission on remots locations, and that are increased by pandemys, using A.I. resources to colect data actively and passively about all the factors that unconsciously influence the psychological pattern associated with mood and psychological health. It must to understand, learn and being able to adapt the general conditions to avoid as much damage as possible. Therefore, our future challenge is to expand our guardian's fields of activity to specific functionalities for missions/research groups in locations such as the Amazon Forest, Antarctica and platforms in the ocean.

How We Addressed This Challenge

People who work in remote locations often have specific training to deal with isolation, but in the face of a pandemic, new concerns arise that highlight possible psychological damage.

Distancing yourself from your loved ones, for example, can make this experience even more difficult and even affect the performance of these professionals.

How We Developed This Project

We are the Equipe Toró and our main objective is to think about how adverse situations can cause a dangerous psychological impact for people who are isolated and are forced to live in isolation from isolation. All the data was used to build a theoretical foundation about all our project. The XODÓ guardian have to learn social patterns to decide the best abordation to a personal approach. We used Powtoon to video development, Trello to arrange the all ideas and to have a overview of the whole project. We have achieve the best team work connection, that we have never done before, and the problem was that we have not the specific knowledge and resources to see the challenge better.
