A World Away

Your challenge is to identify pandemic social problems that may have collateral effects in remote locations (such as space). How will you prepare for the collateral effects in remote locations, and/or evaluate on-Earth support and remote location risks, including psychological and technical risks?

UV-19

Summary

UV-19 is a mountable smart apparatus that aims to sterilize the surface of the fingerprint scanner with UV light to avoid the spread of infections. This eco friendly works with artificial intelligence . While green light turns on, users can use the scanner safely. After each fingerprint scanning, UV light is working and the red light light turns on. The surface of scanner is sterilized with UV light in 5 seconds from any bacteria or viruses before reusing. How We Addressed This Challenge

We realize the value of our health during thestruggling with Covid-19 Pandemic and we decided to use the prevention speed of this virus in the world.

How We Developed This Project

We’re inspired by the common using of fingerprint scanner systems because they’re in used at crowded place like schools, hospitals and government offices. We approach the system as problem focused so we can say contagion increases with contact and these type of scanners. We used the space agency data to show the damage of active ingredients of disinfectants to the osone layer. We've used Arduino for the systems’ movement sensor, illustrator for visualising and we’ve used UV light fort he hardware. We slog on the finding Space agency data about the issue we’re working on.At the point of our achievements: We show the proper usage of UV light can reveal the healthy results and we’re happy to be part of this journey of healing the world and produce solutions for it.
