Where There’s a Link, There’s a Way

Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, there has been a proliferation of websites and portals developed to share resources about the topic. Your challenge is to find innovative ways to present and analyze integrated, real-time information about the environmental factors affecting the spread of COVID-19.

EnvCovid

Summary

We decided to look at temperature as a factor affecting the spread of the covid-19 causing virus. Our initial assumption was a direct increase in the number of cases as the temperature increase for up to 3 degrees celsius as stated in this study: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0048969720317149We decided to confirm this conclusion of the said study by looking at the top 15 most hit counties of the united states of america. Conclusion: Temperature has no obvious effect

How We Addressed This Challenge

Project looks at the temperature as a deciding factor for the spread.

How We Developed This Project

Our motivation was better understanding of the spread using data science.
